- Part drawing or product sketch including resin description if known
- 3D model if available
- Tooling:
- Does the tooling currently exist (transfer tool project)
- Cavitation
- Part and runner weight
- Cycle time
- Tool dimensions (length, width, height)
- Additional support equipment available
- New tooling
- Exotic design elements
- Lead time requirements
- Tool cost target (part price + tooling price ÷ total unit volume)
- Does the tooling currently exist (transfer tool project)
- Annual unit volume estimates
- Price target for the product
- Special or unusual packaging, product marking, ship-to locations, etc.
- Total cost targets (part price + tooling price % total unit volume)
